Enrolment in the first year

Once your application has been accepted by the doctoral school (in accordance with its own application procedure), you will be allowed to enrol in the Communauté Université Grenoble Alpes.  

Once enroled, your doctoral school will be your contact for all the scientific aspects of your dissertation.

Application process for enrolment in the first year

Your enrolment is done in two stages: course enrolment then administrative registration.

A word of warning! Application procedures may vary from one doctoral school to another. Check with the doctoral school that corresponds to the specialization of your doctorate.

Once your course enrolement is complete, you can proceed with your administrative enrolment. Registration is open from 1 September until December 9, 2016. The registration center will contact you to tell you the procedure and specify the required documents.

Derogatory manner and on presentation of receipts (release of late funding for example) , it will be possible to register until April 30, 2017.

Enrolment fees

Enrolment fees for 2016-17 amount to €396.10. The sum of €215 for affiliation to the social security scheme can be added to this (if you are under 28 years of age and your contract does not cover all the academic year).

After having paid the enrolment fees, you will obtain your student card from the Communauté Université Grenoble Alpes. This card will allow you to access university libraries, the CROUS, etc., and to benefit from training courses offered by the doctoral school.
