On this occasion, the Université Grenoble Alpes will honor its PhD graduates of the class of 2020. The ceremony will be followed by the Thesis Prize awards, which will be given to 8 UGA PhD students whose thesis work has been judged to be of exceptional quality: 7 academic thesis prizes and 1 innovation thesis prize funded by Grenoble Alpes Métropole.

The 2021 PhD Ceremony

On June 22, 2021 at 5.30 pm

Some 550 PhD graduates from the class of 2020 will be celebrated, including the 8 thesis prize winners at this first Université Grenoble Alpes ceremony. The PhD represents years of investment and the culmination of a university cycle. The thesis awards promote the excellence of research carried out in our research laboratories.

The graduation ceremony is organized by doctoral school in the following order:

ED ISCE, ED SE, ED EEATS, ED PHILO, ED CSV, ED SJ, ED LLSH, ED PHYS, ED SG, ED STEP, ED SHPT, ED I-MEP², ED MSTII

The Academic Thesis and Innovation Prizes will be officially presented live during the evening.
The prize winners will be the ambassadors of this class.
