The Individual Thesis Monitoring Committee (CSI)

According to the regulatory provisions set forth in articles 13 and 11 of the order of May 25, 2016, an Individual Thesis Monitoring Committee (CSI) of the PhD student ensures the smooth running of the PhD student's program based on the PhD charter and the training agreement.
A PhD student's individual thesis monitoring committee ensures the smooth running of the PhD student's program by relying on the PhD charter and the training agreement. In an interview with the PhD student, it evaluates the conditions of his or her training and the progress of his or her research. It makes recommendations and sends a report of the interview to the director of the Doctoral School, the PhD student and the thesis supervisor.

In particular, it ensures the prevention of any form of conflict, discrimination or harassment.
The composition, organization and functioning of this committee are determined by the Doctoral School Council. The members of this committee do not participate in directing the work of the PhD student.

Consult the decree of May 25, 2016 setting the national training framework and the modalities leading to the issuance of the national PhD diploma
The individual follow-up of PhD students is the responsibility of the Doctoral Schools and is described in their internal regulations.
