Support for outbound international mobility is provided under the IDEX Training program and is designed to encourage outbound mobility for doctoral students for stays of 1 to 6 months as part of their dissertation research.

Call for Proposals: The Vinci Program of the Franco-Italian University (UFI) aims to promote academic cooperation by funding mobility initiatives for master’s students, doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, and faculty members between France and Italy. In particular, the call offers mobility grants and doctoral contracts for jointly supervised theses. Fulbright Program
The Fulbright Doctoral Program – Université Grenoble Alpes supports doctoral students enrolled in a thesis program at one of Université Grenoble Alpes’ doctoral schools who wish to spend time in the United States.
Université Grenoble Alpes and the Franco-American Fulbright Commission have entered into an agreement establishing research grants for doctoral students wishing to visit an American university or research institute. These grants cover a stay of 3 to 12 months, depending on the research project.

ECOS Program: Northern Peru
The ECOS program is designed to support outstanding projects in scientific collaboration. This initiative involves cooperation between France and Peru. It funds exchanges among researchers in the form of short-term visits and advanced training courses for doctoral students participating in the selected projects. It is open to all fields of study.
The program’s objective is to initiate or expand scientific cooperation, as well as to promote joint research and training activities between French researchers and faculty members and their colleagues at the University of São Paulo (USP). This joint program involves the exchange of scientists, including early-career researchers (PhD and postdoctoral students).
