Université Grenoble Alpes wishes to honor the 2022 PhD graduates and is holding the PhD Ceremony on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 5pm at the Louis Weil Amphitheater, on the Saint-Martin-d'Hères campus.

PhD Ceremony on June 22, 2023 at 5pm
at the Louis Weil Amphitheater

This occasion is an opportunity for Université Grenoble Alpes to honor its PhD graduates of the class of 2022. The ceremony includes the awarding of degrees and thesis prizes to ten UGA doctors whose thesis work has been judged to be of outstanding quality : eight academic thesis prizes, including one interdisciplinary prize, and two innovation thesis prizes. The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail reception and a festive evening.

It will be possible to follow the ceremony in English exclusively in person via an interpreting channel.

If you cannot attend, the ceremony will be broadcast live and will remain accessible on the University Grenoble Alpes Youtube channel.
 
Picking up your degree

.Those registered for the ceremony may collect their degree on the day of the ceremony between 2pm and 4:30pm at the ceremony venue (Louis Weil Amphitheater)

. Anyone may pick up their degree, without an appointment, at the Maison du doctorat from 9am to 12pm on that day only.

. PhD students who have defended their thesis between January 1 and August 31,2022 can pick up their degree before the ceremony by following the usual collection procedure.
