The Université Grenoble Alpes will honor its PhD graduates of the class of 2025.
The ceremony will be followed by the Thesis Prize awards, which will be given to 10 UGA PhD students whose thesis work has been judged to be of exceptional quality: eight academic thesis prizes, including one interdisciplinary prize, two innovation thesis prizes and one ecological transformation thesis prize.
On June 9, 2026, some 740 Université Grenoble Alpes PhDs graduating in the year 2025 will be celebrated, including 10 thesis prize winners, at this ceremony in the prestigious Amphi Weil on the Saint-Martin-d'Hères university campus.
The PhD, the highest level of university diploma, represents years of investment. It is the culmination of a university cycle.
The Academic, Interdisciplinary, Innovation and Ecological Transformation Thesis Prizes promote excellence and values of the research conducted in the laboratories and will be officially awarded live on the evening. The laureates will be ambassadors for the year 2025. Registration and participation in the ceremony are reserved for PhDs graduating in 2025, their family and friends, and their supervisors.
