Scientific cooperation with Canada is a strategic priority of the new integrated university UGA. In this context, a framework agreement was signed with the Canadian agency Mitacs in July 2019 for a period of 5 years in order to develop these cooperations, in particular by financing research stays for students, PhD students and post-docs.
What is Mitacs?
Mitacs is a Canadian not-for-profit organization that has been supporting research and training programs in Canada for the past 20 years, in collaboration with 70 Canadian universities, 6,000 companies and government.
What opportunities are open? For whom?
Three mobility programs will be implemented by UGA and Mitacs with co-funding from the Initiative for Excellence (IDEX).
These programs concern all components of the UGA.
