Learning by Research

Once your application has been accepted by the Doctoral School (according to its own procedure), you will be authorized to enroll at the Université Grenoble Alpes. Your registration is done in two steps: pedagogical registration and administrative registration.

Watch out! The educational registration procedures are specific to each Doctoral School. Please inquire.
Once your educational registration has been validated, you will be contacted by email by the registration center which will tell you the procedure and specify the documents to be provided. 
Registration will be open from September 7, 2020. 

An academic year begins on September 1 and ends on August 31.

PhD registration fees :
Registration fees are set each year by the Ministry:

• Normal rate: 380 € (346 € Registration + 34 € University Library)
• Double enrolment rate: please contact us if you are enrolled in another university in Grenoble.

Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC in French)

Since the start of the 2018-2019 academic year, students must apply to the Crous: https://cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr/ before their administrative registration.

Only students enrolled under a co-tutorship agreement signed by all parties specifying that the registration fees will be paid in the foreign partner country, do not have to take any steps.

The Student and Campus Life Contribution (CVEC) of 91 € is intended to promote the reception and social, health, cultural and sports support of students and to reinforce prevention and health education actions. A decree of June 30, 2018 specifies the terms and conditions.
