The Université Grenoble Alpes, the College and the Doctoral Schools, concerned with improving the quality of life of PhD students, provide support to PhD students to address their day-to-day difficulties, whether personal or professional, relating to financial insecurity, well-being, mental health, or the fight against discrimination or harassment. Bulles d'air, active listening and social assistance services of the Crous Grenoble Alpes are available at the Maison du doctorat. Your Doctoral School remains your contact in all circumstances.
Air bubble (Bulle d'Air)
A support system based on active, neutral and benevolent listening. The objective is to promote the daily well-being necessary for the development of optimal conditions for success. Sessions are available at the Maison du doctorat.
In order to support PhD students and respond to situations of precariousness and personal difficulties, the Doctoral College has strengthened its partnership with the Crous Grenoble Alpes with social assistance sessions at the Maison du doctorat.
Bilingual psychologists are present at the Université Grenoble Alpes Health Center. The Center also offers group workshops on relaxation and stress management.
Our UGA PhD Student Alumni Association is based on three values: benevolence, confidentiality and solidarity and is centered around the issues of mental health and well-being of PhD students during their thesis.
Fighting against SGBV, discrimination and harassment
The UGA is committed to preventing and punishing sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), all forms of discrimination and harassment in accordance with the rules and has set up an active reporting system for all PhD students.
