Once your admission to the Doctoral School has been confirmed, you will receive an e-mail from the "scolarité"Office with a link to your re-registration form (including payment of your registration fees).

You must register before December 16, 2025.
Registration after this date is by way of exception.

You must re-register and pay your tuition fees via the link to the website that is sent to you by email after your admission in the Doctoral School

Except in the 2 cases below:
Reasons for tuition fees exemption
For financial difficulties if your application has been accepted by the exemption commission (Application procedure).
You are preparing your thesis within the framework of a cotutelle agreement, signed by all parties, and that this agreement explicitly states that you are exempt from registration fees at Université Grenoble Alpes for the academic year 2025-2026.

Your UGA personal space

As a PhD student, you are both registered as a student at UGA, and staff of your laboratory. You therefore have a Student profile and a Personal profile.

An institutional address (@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr) is also created. Your email address is accessible from the staff intranet (https://intranet.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr).

Student card

Your card remains valid for the duration of your doctoral program.
If you wish, a "2025-2026" sticker can be affixed to your card at the Maison du doctorat Jean Kuntzmann (Registration Center - office 003)
If you do not re-register, your card will be automatically deactivated after 31 December 2025.
If you have lost your student card you must contact ced-centredinscription@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr
You will be asked to provide proof that your card has been stolen or to pay a €15 reissue fee.

Year Off (Césure)

If you wish to benefit from a year off, you must apply before June 15 for a year off beginning on September 1, and before October 15 for all other requests.
During the year off, the PhD student remains registered and must pay the reduced tuition fees :
€264 in 2025/2026.
Students on a year off enrolled in initial training at an institution of higher education are subject to payment of the CVEC (see circular n°2019-030 of April 10, 2019)
