Once your pedagogical registration has been validated by the Doctoral School, you will receive an email from the Registrar's Office indicating the administrative registration procedures.

  • Online registration (for all re-registration) or by appointment at the Maison du Doctorat Jean Kuntzmann at 110 rue de la Chimie Saint-Martin-d'Hères (first registration at UGA and specific cases) according to the health situation

  • List of documents to be provided
Attention : If you defend before 31 December, you do not need to proceed with your administrative registration.

Registration period

The administrative registration period starts on 2 July until 19 July 2024 and will resume on 26 August 2024.
We invite you to proceed with this compulsory procedure as soon as you receive the email from ced-centredinscription@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr.

CVEC

Each student in initial training in a higher education institution must pay the student life and campus contribution (CVEC) to the Crous before registering in their institution.
The CVEC amounts to €103 per year and is intended to finance preventive actions and projects that contribute to improving living and studying conditions and to making campus life more dynamic.

Registration fees

The registration fee is €391 for all PhD registrations for the academic year 2024/2025.
You can benefit from a payment in three monthly instalments.

Exemption from registration fees

Registration fee refund conditions

Only doctoral students entering their first year are eligible for reimbursement of the registration fees paid for doctoral registration.
Reimbursement is automatic for one of the following two reasons:

  • Application for ZRR access rejected;
  • Visa application refused.

For any other reason, reimbursement is automatic if the registration cancellation request is made in writing:

  • Before the start date of the work contract dedicated to the thesis, for doctoral students benefiting from it;
  • Before 31 October of the academic year in question, for doctoral students who do not have a dedicated work contract dedicated to the thesis.

All requests must be preceded by a declaration of withdrawal from the doctoral school to which the student school.
